iForum Kyiv was Friday. Forty-five minute keynote on building B2B during war. Q&A ran long; took the last question after the moderator tried to wrap. Two follow-up partnership conversations already on the calendar for May. Slides going up on /speaking this week.
What’s not
Three speaking invitations declined this week. All three were in the right industry but the wrong city for the next six weeks of my calendar. The discipline of saying no to flights is the discipline I'm the worst at; I'm getting better.
One thing I’m thinking about
The difference between an audience that responds to data and an audience that responds to stories. iForum is the latter — Kyiv founders want to hear what actually happened, not what the spreadsheet said. Sifted in London is the former. Two completely different keynote templates for the same content.
